Newberger Speregen, Devra: - Devra Newberger Speregen began writing childrens books when she worked as a magazine and book editor at Scholastic, Inc.
, and later, Disney Press and Parachute Press.
She has published nearly 200 books since then--including fiction, non-fiction, biographies, puzzles and activities, movie and television tie-ins, and board and novelty books.
Most notable are her popular chapter book series--Full House Stephanie, Miss O & Friends, and First Puppy--and her biographies of Albert Einstein, Adam Sandler, and Macaulay Culkin, along with her recently published licensed DIY titles-- My Little Pony Get Ponified Hair , Transformers Give Your Old Stuff the Reboot , and MLP Bracelets for Besties --and her non-fiction, leveled readers-- Eye Doctor On Call , Total Recall , and Weird & Wacky Sports .
Devra currently lives in Long Beach, New York.
