Blood brothers, paperback/ernst haffner

A classic German novel which was originally published in 1932, and banned by the Nazis a year later.

It follows a gang of young boys bound together by unwritten rules and mutual loyalty.

All records of Haffner disappeared during WWII and he was never seen again.
