Timbers, Alex: - Alex Timbers is a Tony Award-winning writer and director and the recipient of Golden Globe, Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Awards, as well as two OBIE and Lucille Lortel Awards.
His many Broadway credits include Moulin Rouge! , Beetlejuice , David Byrnes American Utopia , The Pee-wee Herman Show , Nick Kroll and John Mulaneys Oh Hello on Broadway , Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson , and Disneys Peter and the Starcatcher .
For television, he co-created Amazons Mozart in the Jungle and has directed numerous concert specials, including the Emmy-winning John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous at Radio City for Netflix.
Alex lives in Times Square with his partner Rebekah and three mischievous parakeets.
