Dr Jongi Joseph Klaas has a Bachelor of Pedagogics from the University of Fort Hare, South Africa; a Masters Degree from the from the University of Oklahoma in the United States of America and Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.

In 2015 he published Memoirs of Relentless Pursuit.

Currently, he is working on the battlefields of the African wars of resistance.
